False Tooth for Child?

My daughter is 3 years old and she has chipped her front tooth and it destroyed the root. So she is having the tooth extracted, I was wondering is there a false tooth or something made for kids so she won't be made fun of for all the years that it takes for this permanent tooth to come in?

False Tooth for Child?
Her permanent tooth will be in before you know it. My cousins daughter had her front tooth removed for the same reason and she never had a problem with anyone making fun of her - I think she looked absolutely adorable with it missing. Kids at that age I think are still too young to really make fun of other kids. My son is almost 4 and I know he would never even notice anything like that :) And when she does get to be 5 or 6 alot of kids have their front teeth missing - that's when they usually start falling out. I really think you have nothing to worry about.
Reply:no but the perm teeth come soon
Reply:If I were you, I would leave that space open to let the permanent tooth come out. Else, the tooth may not be aligned correctly, causing it to be sticking out or worse lodged up in her skull.

It's really not that bad, trust me, she's only a kid and the permanent tooth will be out so quick you wished you hadn't spent money on the false tooth.
Reply:This is my opinion but are you sure you want to give a 3 y/o a false tooth? With all the playing kids do that false tooth might just fall out and the permanent one is bound to grow in about two years. I couldn't tell you where to find a false tooth because even though i chipped the very bottom of my two permanent eyeteeth they were able to be covered. I know veeners cost $750. Hope that helped at least a little.
Reply:She won't be made fun of. I fact it's a bit of a status symbol to have lost a tooth so early, kid are often competitve over who's lost the most teeth! You, she and everyone will soon get used to her new look and it will no longer be an issue.

If you encourage her to be proud of her gap, she will smile more and all people will see is a beautifull confident smile. Gap, what gap?

I hope it didn't hurt, bless her!
Reply:Be patient for the permanent tooth. And don't worry. Kids walk around with missing teeth all the time because they lose them all the time.
Reply:If she is only three, then her other baby teeth should be falling out in a few years and she will look perfectly normal. But, if you really think it will bother her, talk to your dentist. You may be able to buy a flipper (see my resource for more details).
Reply:Hey Quit your worrying!! Young kids are suppose to loose there teeth she is just loosing hers a little early.just hope she never has a bigger problem than this in her life!! I raised 6 kids. DMD 32 yrs
