There is a very in-expensive but high-quality dental plan that can help you with that. It doesnt pay 100%, but can save you signifcant money, and most dentists are good about taking payments if you at least have a plan of some sort. Reply:Maybe he can go to a dental school. They have lower cost and sometimes free dental care.
Reply:Yes, unfortunately dentists are very expensive. I am surprised that we don't have to pay someone to say the word dentist.

Are you near a dental school. They should be able to help you get false teeth a t a reasonable rate.
Reply:It is fairly expensive and most medical coverage plans do not cover it. Funny how our health stops at our mouths.
Reply:Travel to Romania it is very cheap
Reply:im from romania. its really hard to find somone good in romania to do your teeth. my father had his done several years ago in romania and couple months after that they started falling apart. now he found a new guy in romania and is doing his teeth again.

traveling to europe is expensive and paying the dentist is even more expensive.

but if you stay in the usa it will be way more expensive. and if you travel to mexica on a cheap dime and pay less to the dentist they will work cheap on you.

so figure out what you want. where are you? if you want to go to mexica, then go. its cheap there. but good luck coming back to the usa.

if you want to go to europe you have to have lots and lots of money going there and paying the dentist and having a place to stay and eating too. if you have relatives in europe that will help your wallet out a lot.

the best thing to do is find a dentist school near you and have them put it in. im sure youd get some warrenty on it and it would be easier to go back to that school and have them fix the problem then going back to mexica or europe to fix the problem. get my drift? okay.

oh and by the way my father paid like $1,000 for the ticket to go to europe. paid almost $2,000 for the work on his teeth and he is still not done. he still has to go back in Dec. there is more money there too.

if you go out of the contry its hard to finish all your teeth up. since they need to take out your old teeth and that takes time and needs time to heal. so staying in the usa is way better. you can relax and heal at home and then go back to the dentist school with out paying thousands of dollars on travel.
Reply:Dental students need patients to sit for them to take licensing exams. Some of these exams can require fabrication of a full denture. Perhaps your husband can make arrangements for his denture be finished instead of left in the wax stage. Many times students will actually pay their board patients a stipend for their time. There are different requirments for different exams. Contact your local dental school and ask if your husband might be a suitable board patient! ( I am a dentist)
Reply:have him sign up for a night school class in whittling and then he will be able to carve himself a new set out of wood. If they were good enough for George Washington, they should be good enough for hubby
Reply:The price is going to depend on where you go. Some dentists only charge about $100 or so to pull a tooth. That is not the normal fee but I have heard of that in some offices. You can get dentures for about $400 for each one (top or bottom) but that is for a basic, plastic, uncharacterized set, that usually does not include relines or adjustments. I worked for a place years ago that only charged $398 for a basic set, but it included 1 adjustment. The rest were $50 a piece. If your husband were to have to come in for an adjustment every week for the first month or 2, that would be about $100-200 just for adjustments.

In my office we do charge higher than many offices, but we are considered a "top of the line" type office. We only use the best materials and labs, which usually means the most expensive. We also do not charge for follow up appointments. At all!!

Our extractions are $278 and our dentures are $1350 a piece.
Reply:wow..but you can afford to play on Yahoo Answers... hmm, get a job and help him out.
